My name is Tina Morlock. I’m a Python-focused automation developer based in the Oklahoma City area, with a background in writing, editing, and web content. I enjoy building small, practical tools that reduce repetitive work and make everyday tasks simpler. Outside of coding, my interests include reading fiction, playing pinball, and researching true crime.
I hold an associate’s degree in computer programming and have over a decade of experience working in technical environments, including technical support, customer service, web hosting, and web content. This background has given me a strong appreciation for clear systems, reliable tools, and software that prioritizes usability over complexity.
More recently, I completed a year-long software development bootcamp, where I strengthened my skills in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C#. As part of the program, I completed two short internships working with existing codebases and Agile teams—one using Python/Django and the other using C#/.NET, gaining hands-on experience reading, modifying, and extending real-world applications.
I’m focused on building lightweight automation tools and scripts, primarily in Python, while continuing to deepen my development skills and grow a practical, code-first portfolio. After several years working as a freelance book editor, I’m now fully transitioning back into development with an emphasis on automation, clarity, and maintainable solutions.
